Have you been a TAFE teacher in the past 2 years or you currently teaching at a TAFE with NO formal qualification in Certificate IV in Training & Assessment?
On 8 December 2011, the National Skills Standards Council (NSSC) endorsed a new determination stating that all trainers and assessors working in TAFEs and RTOs must hold the current TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or be able to demonstrate equivalent competency by 1 July 2013.
Given this expectation, HBA Learning Centres has provided a RPL process to make achieving the TAE as simple as possible. Below is a link to an RPL Self Assessment Kit which will allow you to document for HBA the evidence you have against the unit requirements for the TAE40110. There are many and varied outcomes to RPL claims depending on the amount and depth of quality of the evidence you provide, in a best case scenario we may be able provide Full RPL and issue you your qualification, in a situation where little or poorer quality of evidence is provided we may ask you to attend a 3 day workshop and/or complete a few assessment tasks (these task may also be completed in a self-paced environment). This will fast track you achieving the qualification that TAFE is now telling you, you must have.

What it will cost.
HBA Learning Centres does charge a non refundable assessment fee, that fee is $200.00. This fee is not lost however, it will be deducted from the following pricing schedule, based on the outcome of your claim.
If you are a current Tafe teacher you are eligible for $200 off the final RPL assessment price. Prices vary dependent on your RPL outcome
If you are a current Tafe teacher and are granted full RPL, the total cost will be $500
