TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is the qualification required by trainers and assessors to teach and assess Nationally Recognised Qualifications in VET, this includes TAFE and private Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). TAE40110 is highly regarded in the mining and construction industry as it compliments the WHS qualification (Cert IV OHS/WHS, Diploma OHS/WHS, Advanced Diploma OHS/WHS etc.) and ensures that industry meets its compliance obligations
On 8 December 2011, the National Skills Standards Council (NSSC) endorsed a new determination stating that all trainers and assessors working in TAFEs and RTOs must hold the current TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or be able to demonstrate equivalent competency by 1 July 2013.
How do we deliver training?
Training Options
HBA offers most courses with different delivery models, in the case of TAE40110 we offer:
Intensive Delivery: 5 consecutive workdays of classroom attendance plus pre-course workbook and home work at night, assessment occurs during the course. In circumstances where the learner cannot complete the pre-course workbook prior to or during the intensive 5 days, it will need to be completed post course- $1,795
Blended Delivery: 2 consecutive workdays of classroom attendance followed by you completing your assessments at home and the work is sent into HBA for assessment- $1,200
Self Paced: This is 100% completed by you at home and the work is sent into HBA for assessment- $1,000
Our resources
Our workbooks and Learner Guide utilise HoverSmart (which is trademarked by HBA) and they are embedded with video tutorials (which brings our Trainers to you) and each resource, template, tool and instrument has a clear and simple explanation of what is required in the individual fields. It’s like having your own personal trainer alongside you. Our Trainers will personally guide you through the resources, terminology and performance criteria.
